Silly Sister

So, I'm just snapping pictures. My sister is doing all the work--shooting silly poses, not caring too much which pictures I post. I chose some of the really silly ones, as well as the really nice ones. That's my sis. I'm always laughing with her as she goofs around and says funny things. Actually, I'm chuckling as I type this because I can hear her singing from her room.

She's off to college tomorrow--sophomore year...

The end of the summer is winding down...Only six more days until I go back to New York City. I've been sewing a lot, but I cannot reveal all of my creations until a little later. I have a few surprises for my friends, and I don't want them to see yet!

Anyway, I just finished this wrap dress from Butterick Pattern B5030 for my sister. She picked out the fabric. Isn't it lovely? My sister's birthday was in April, so I sent her a card with an "I

owe you a dress" attached. Here it is!

I thought I really wouldn't have any trouble with this dress, but I ended up sewing the collar on backwards and running out of fabric. So, it took a little longer than anticipated.
